Does my data stay in Canada?
Yes. We configure your environment so your data resides in Microsoft’s Canadian data centres, in line with your compliance obligations, including Law 25.
Is it more expensive than a server in my office?
Often, no. Once you add up the purchase, maintenance, electricity, cooling and the every-five-years replacement, the cloud frequently ends up costing less. We build a cost projection before migrating anything, and for our managed-service clients, we keep an eye on the bill afterward.
How long does a migration take?
It depends on the size of your environment: from a few weeks to a few months. The final switchover is planned outside your critical hours so nothing gets interrupted.
Will my team have to change its habits?
Very little. Your tools don’t change, they’re just hosted elsewhere. With Azure Virtual Desktop, everyone finds their usual desktop, whatever the device. We support your teams through the transition.
